Nik played three years at College of the Rockies before moving to Canada West to play his fourth year at the University of Calgary and his fifth year at the University of Saskatchewan. Nik then went on to play for two years in the German second Bundesliga where his team won the Southern German championship. Nik is now a Volleyball Canada National Referee and still enjoys playing competitive Volleyball.
