Harv played four seasons with the Capilano Blues from 2010-2014 in the CCAA. He was in the top 10 in digs, kills, aces and total offense in his final year. His two seasons with the University of Saskatchewan Huskies from 2014-2016 in the CIS saw two CIS tournament appearances where the Huskies finished 5th and 4th in the country.
