Lars played with the UBC Okanagan Heat where he was recognized as a top male student-athlete in each of his five seasons. Following university, he played professionally overseas in Austria and Czech earning a spot on the MEZVA final four dream team. Lars is currently also an active beach volleyball player having won gold at the B.C. beach provincial championships.
